A family-owned and family-run restaurant, La Rienda offers authentic, home-made Latin American dishes – a unique fusion of Mexican, Guatemalan and other regional influences – all cooked to order. You can accompany your meal with a michelada – a unique Bloody Mary-like drink made with beer – or choose from a wide range of beverages. La Rienda means “the reins,” just don’t rein in your appetite! You’ll want to save room for dessert.

From Mexican standard fare, like burritos and fajitas, to traditional Guatemalan Pulike stew or cheese-and-pork filled pupusas, you’ll want to keep coming back to try new dishes. Lunch, dinner or some quick empanadas and a Negra Modelo cerveza, La Rienda’s menu is extensive and mouth-watering. Domestic and imported beers and a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are served.
A beguiling blend of rich spices and special sauces excites your taste buds. And the freshness! The guacamole is made to order. The tortillas are home-made. Many of the recipes have been passed down through the generations. La Rienda is far beyond typical Mexican fare. You’ll be saying “Sabroso!” after each bite.
